The narrator is trying to decide their favorite color. At first, they think it is yellow, but as they reflect on the many colors found in nature and variations within the colors, they are undecided. In the end, the narrator decides that they can’t make up their mind because they love all the colors.
This creative board book has cut outs with different colors of plastic so when you change the page, the colors change. The text is okay, nothing great, but it’s fun to think of all the different versions of green, blue, etc. The context is a grid of colors, and every page spread is the same format with different shades of color. Interesting idea, but fun for a one time read.
