This book introduces the basics of the world’s five largest religions: Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam. It begins with a two page summary of the religion, then a two page illustration of activities in the religion, and finally two pages of a tiny illustrations with descriptions of various activities in the religion.
My kids devoured this book. I think it would probably be best read in different sittings, but my kids wanted to know more and more. I think students hear about their friends’ different traditions, but don’t really know how to put it in context of an entire religion, or even what religion is for that matter. I like that this book assimilated a bunch of information that students have already heard in bits and pieces.
