The illustrations in this book are watercolor depictions of a tiny girl and her large father. Together they make each other smile and help each other. One particularly charming illustration shows the dad sewing with the daughter and another shows them cuddling in bed with the daughter taking up the bulk of the space. 

I am completely enchanted by the illustrations and the daddy daughter relationship in this book. The illustrator explains in a note in the back that she wanted to create a figure that felt safe and encouraging, and she is entirely successful in that.
