Diana does not do well in school because she is often bored and can’t concentrate. Her parents are concerned about her grades and take her to a doctor and psychologist. When no one is watching Diana starts to dance in the psychologist’s office and he prescribes dance lessons. As Diana learns to dance, she also learns better at school.
This is an amazing story about the power of movement in educational endeavors. How many of our students feel like they just aren’t good at school because they aren’t good at sitting still? This book will land well with a lot of young readers and their teachers.
