This book is divided into sections on different aspects of love. The first section is “Love is” and contains 7 paintings of things like a snuggle, a nuzzle, and an adventure. The second section is “Love feels” and contains paintings that express things like safety and gracefulness. Each painting is alone on one page with the title and artist clearly displayed. There are several additional sections of paintings. 

There is a wide range of styles represented in this book and I think the art loving parent will enjoy reading this book. I’m not convinced the child reader will enjoy it as much as the adult reader. As is reflective of the art community at large, female artists are underrepresented in this book too (5 out of 34).
