A young girl is full of the Spirit of the Season! She hears the bells, donates to charity, sings with a choir, smells roasting nuts, feels the cold wind, ice skates, looks in the store windows, shops, visits Santa, and helps the needy.
The short text compliments the bright illustrations, large enough to read to a class. The author/illustrator have really encompassed the season in this wonderful picture book. What a fun day she had! I'd love to re-create it with my grandchildren.
