A small family is fleeing war, and boards a rickety boat, sailing for many days. Along the way they give a polar bear a ride back to her cubs.
The illustrations tell the story of the journey, the text takes it to a new level - it's about caring. Caring for our family, refugees, animals, our planet, each other. So many layers in this simple picture book, however, I think the intended audience will find it strange.
