Bear is supposed to be hibernating as it is
winter time, but he can’t seem to give in to sleep. His animal neighbors come and try to help him
with their sleep remedies, but not much works.
Eventually, Bear starts to tell his friends a story and right before the
ending he falls into a deep sleep.
There
are a bunch of books involving Bear and his friends, including Bear Snores On. This book has adorable bright illustrations
and cute rhyming text which makes for a fun read aloud. As for the story, it’s not great and I think
the other Bear books by this author have more interesting stories.
