A young girl is hiding in her house. The reader knocks on the door and the young girls screams when she opens the door. She apologizes and explains that she is afraid and thinks there is a bear hiding in the woods watching her. Then a bear actually comes to the door. All of a sudden the reader realizes that all may not be what it seems.
Hannigan takes the reader on a fun, interesting, and contradictory journey in this Goldilocks type tale. Her bold, visual illustrations jump from every page.
