When Christmas and the first night of Chanukah fall on the same day Sophie, Max and thier family celebrate both holidays together. Both sets of grandparents come to celebrate as well and they all participate in the Jewish and Christian holiday traditions.
Breskin has a fun story about finding the joy in both the Christian and Jewish holiday season. 2024 was the first time in almost twenty years that both holidays occured on the same day.
