A family of dragons loves to spend time together going on adventures. But the mama dragon is an astronaut and she has to leave the family behind while she goes on a mission to space. The family finds ways to stay close while she is away.
Told in rhyme, this is a sweet story that would be good for children who are separated from their parents for a time. Menon was a crew member on Polaris Dawn and the story grew out of her own experiences being away from her children while on a mission. Harkless’s illustrations are amazing. They appear to be made from clay with wonderful color and texture.
