BUYING ADVISORY: Pre-K, EL (K-3) - OPTIONAL

Gertie used to eat all kinds of foods, but once she discovered snacks, there seemed to be no turning back. No room for dinner if you are full up on snacks! A trip to the community garden with her grandmother opens Gertie’s eyes to real food.
I prefer Birkett’s Bedtime is Boring, because this title has a twist at the end that undoes all of the good that came from Gertie learning to love real food. It also feels like more of a morality tale than Bedtime did. Gertie and her Dad are mice (I think).
