Nate the Great and the Star-Spangled Parrot is written by the original author's son.  Andrew has written two other new Nate the Great books.  The illustrations look more modern than the previous book in the series.  This book is written in the same format as the older Nate the Great books.  A great read for early readers! Nate is presumably white.
