Once there was a kingdom of busy, clever people who never had time to cook. The Knights of Dinner made sure that everyone was well fed. There was Pizza Knight, Dumpling Knight, Noodle Knight, and even New Recipe Knight. No knight is everyone's favorite. One day Taco Knight comes to town. He thinks he is the best and turns every night into Taco night. The villagers love him at first but soon they boo him. He gives up and helps the other knights make their food. Will the villagers ever want Taco night again?
It's Taco Knight! is full of wacky humor. It celebrates friendship, empathy, and reminds us that variety is the spice of life. I loved the fun energetic illustrations.
