Extreme Places takes the reader on a journey around the world to some of the most difficult and challenging places to live. We learn about the different cultures, survival skills, and the harsh conditions that local people in these communities cherish.
Extreme Places is very interesting and celebrates human ingenuity and community. I really enjoyed the intricate illustrations made by raised layers of paper on painted backgrounds.
