A young girl is so excited that her mom is taking her to the mall to meet Santa. She tries to stay awake every Christmas Eve to see him, but she always falls asleep. She know that he will smell like peppermint, laugh like the sun clapping its hands, and feel like a heart full of glitter. They take the train into the city and when they step out, she see's lots of people dressed like Santa. How will she ever find the real Santa?
Ho tells a cute story about how children feel the magic of Christmas. Phuong's illustrations are adorable and sparkle with Christmas spirit.
