A girl learns about her culture and the Hawaiian Islands through Hula.
Absolutely gorgeous illustrations. Both AJ and I were mesmerized. The test is poetic and beautifully written. We stayed a while on every page commenting on the illustrations and pointing out things we spotted. Wow! Includes a pronunciation guide and glossary. The girl is Hawaiian.
