Chester's mom asked him to go to the community garden next door to pick some vegetables.  As he is looking for vegetables he see's some cauliflower.  The cauliflower tells him he is not a vegetable.  He finds a carrot, peas, beans, peppers, pumpkins and more all telling him that they are not vegetables.  Will Chester ever find a vegetable?  If they are not vegetables, what are they?

There's No Such Thing as a Vegetable is slyly informational and humorous for those wanting to learn more about food that is socially called vegetables.  I enjoyed the delightful, funny illustrations.
