A little girl decides to tell her dad about everything she finds unfair, such as bedtime, baths, being unable to buy whatever she wants, and eating sweets before bed. For each item on her list, her dad comes up with increasingly more creative and outlandish reasons for why they are not unfair.
Kids will relate to this book. It is hard to get through childhood without finding things unfair. The dad's responses to each complaint are funny and creative. However, I am a bit conflicted because all of his responses are in fact lies. Hopefully, the children reading this book will understand that fact and see that the dad is just having some fun with his daughter. The illustrations are fun and engaging. I do like the daughter's response when the dad starts on his list of things that are unfair to adults.
