Did you know that during prehistoric times, there were creatures in the ocean that were up to 49 feet long?  Or that the pepper moth evolved from a pale colored butterfly into a darker one because of pollution?  Learn this and more in "Evolution", an in depth look at how the earth was created and how it changes over time.  "Evolution" also shares many facts about how different animals have evolved over time.  

Darwin’s book is chock full of facts about evolution.  Text and illustrations are used fairly evenly throughout the book.  I enjoyed that they highlighted scientists on almost every page that have studied that particular topic relating to evolution.  The illustrations are fairly realistic.  The text would be very challenging for younger grades because of content and font size.
