AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
A little boy finds a pogo stick at a yard sale and hops down the road, to the deli for cheese, the grocers for apples, and the bakery for bread - he has important plans for lunch with someone special. Guided level C reader with very few words - in fact, the story is completely carried by the darling illustrations. The boy is so happy and it's fun to see each thing he buys in his knapsack afterwards. Is this the same boy from "I See" and "I Dig"?
