BUYING ADVISORY: EL (K-3) - ADVISABLE
AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH
Fox is up late, and is afraid. He is sure that there are scary monsters in the night. In fact, while looking through his binoculars, he sees something really scary - Oh, it's just a bat. Bat takes fox out into the night to show him that there's lots of fun nocturnal animals.
I loved the twist at the end and I'm sure our early readers will, too. As always, Corey Tabor's illustrations are cute and fun. Designed to be a read together, and then to read independently, Fox at night makes a good bedtime, or anytime shared read.
