For more than 14 years, Opportunity roamed Mars and relayed pictures and data back to Earth. When a long, violent storm kicked up the dust one day, Opportunity no longer responded.
While there have been a couple of picture books about Curiosity, this is a nice slice giving Opportunity the spotlight. McGowan includes some scientific back story on different pages, so it can be read first as a cute story and then second with the added info.
