Pout-Pout Fish is under the ocean with an empty basket. He finds some lovely decorated eggs but every time he does, a friend comes to mind. He gives away his treasures one by one and ends up with an empty basket. He loves the attention he gets for sharing though and even gets a kiss. With cute stickers and fun illustrations, the Pout-Pout Fish matches the eggs to his friends and has a great Easter. The book is a rhymer and has great vocabulary for a learning reader. Based on other adventures of Pout-Pout Fish, this book is a cute addition to the collection.
The colors were bright and the story was simple and written by other writers and illustrators than the original. I did like the story which was sweet and kind as the others are and left a fun feeling of Easter happiness. The colorful illustrations are charming and I am always on the lookout for seasonal books. They are only popular for a short time but fun to read and students always want them!!
