Did you know that Martin Van Buren gave the longest inauguration speech in a blizzard without a jacket and ended up dying of pneumonia one month later? Or that some of our presidents were notoriously clumsy? This book is a collection of the errors presidents made that were both humorous and human and the errors that were disastrous for the nation and resulted in civilian loss.
The order of this book had the presumably unintended consequence of making it hard to remember the things I learned while reading. By grouping presidents in creative and playful groups (eccentric presidents, unlucky presidents, etc.) instead of in chronological order, I had a hard time mentally organizing myself.
