One day, in the forest a small something is discovered just laying in a clearing. The leopard thinks it's a spot - and worries that something is making spots fall off; a crow is worried that it might be a fallen piece of star; a fox imagines it's a princess's jewel and soon the king will send an army to look for it. Everyone has their own idea what it might be.
Very colorful illustrations - it's almost a magical forest! I loved how something new throws the whole community into chaos. I can see using this in a classroom as a writing prompt, or role play text.
