AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH
Three little monkeys like to eat different things from each other. One likes crunchy food, one likes sweet food, and one likes bananas. They try to combine their favorite foods into one meal but no one likes the result. Finally they find a food they can share when they eat a creatively built pizza and banana splits.
The bright illustrations are such a fun aesthetic, but the story was hard to feel engaged in. The monkeys’ food preferences were kind of odd and it never really came all the way together for me.
