Rose the stuffed bunny loves having everything around her in order. When she notices a small thread dangling off her arm, she pulls on it and pulls on it and pulls on it until the hole gets big, her stuffing comes out and she can’t use her arm. How can she keep her human from noticing?
Wray has written an almost great book on OCD-like habits or on letting small problems obscure everything that is good around you. I wish the boy had noticed the problem and asked Rose how he could help. Or that Rose had realized that she needed the boy’s help. It would be useful to read the book and then talk to children about other options Rose could have used instead of doing everything by herself.
