The Hindu festival of Diwali is celebrated. The 5 day festival includes preparation, lights, food and traditions including prayers, and even fireworks! This is a lovely primer about Diwali. The illustrations are busy without being too much - there's a lot to look at, so the child can spend a good amount of time with this book. A great addition to a holiday or religious collection.
