In this fun, interactive picture book, one part of a bird is zoomed in on and the reader is asked, "What bird has this (eye/leg/tail/etc)?" The following page tells more about the bird with a full view of the illustrated animal. The last pages of the book also include cool facts about another 8 birds that are "awesome!"

My son has been on a bird kick this summer and we both really enjoyed this simple book. The illustrations are colorful and beautiful, and the textual information is interesting, though definitely not thorough. I very much enjoyed reading this one out loud as it gets the listeners actively thinking and guessing which bird we'll be learning about on the next page. This would be a great choice for any school library.
