Wei and Mei are twins –with very different personalities. Mei is thoughtful and plans, while Wei is all bravery and makes quick decisions. When a dragon name Frightful lands on the bridge in their village –the villagers are blocked from the easy route to the market. Wei tries time and time again to get rid of the dragon, but her rash actions could get her hurt, Mei always has to step in and save the day. Can the sisters work together to defeat the dragon? Features harmonious and Asian inspired illustrations.
This is a nice
story about sisters, and could be used to illustrate the concept of Yin-Yang
for readers. I think it has quite a bit of cover appeal and stories about
dragons are always popular. The illustrations are well done and timeless.
