AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
All aboard the giant container ship as it sets sail from one dock and makes its journey across the world to another location. Learn about the contents of a container ship, how it operates, and what happens when delays (both man-made and natural) inevitably arise.
Further proof that there is literally a book about everything; this brightly illustrated picture book was about a container ship and how they operate in global trade. It was really informative and dare I say, fun! I think younger elementary students would appreciate the simplicity of the text more, but I still see potential for upper grades to use this book as supplemental materials when they study geography. There is quite an extensive informational section in the back for older students to utilize.
