The Goblin is campaigning against elves this time. When he sneaks into Santa’s workshop to prove that goblins are just as good as elves, things don’t quite work out as planned. Thankfully the elves are there to show him the secret to their success.
My favorite is when Goblin shouts the magic word and changes the candy into --- something else (I’m not telling!). Willan has given us four very cute books about this Goblin trying to convince us how great they are - and I am a believer. The goblin is very Dobby-esque in its tattered clothes - with attitude that doesn’t get in the way of learning a good lesson, too.
