Dive deeper into the Arabic language with this simple story exploring the 11 words for love. Love between family members, friends, and others, it is a heartwarming linguistic study of a universal feeling.
I was fascinated by the variety of relationships we classify as only “love” in English but has a rich vocabulary in Arabic. The simple illustrations pair perfectly with each definition on the page. This would be an excellent addition to any classroom library, but I don't think it would be one that kids would naturally pick up themselves.
