When a little Dachshund wants to make friends with the other dogs, he realizes that his habit of walking on two legs, enjoying coffee and cherishing his stick collection makes it difficult to become part of the pack. No one will play with him, in fact, they pretty much ignore him. How does a dog, who is a little different find his pack?
Originally published in Sweden in 2020, this is a delightful story about not fitting in. I loved that the dog didn't make changes to himself just to try to make friends, and the friend he finds is a bit different as well. Thore's illustrations are so cute - the dog on the toilet is my favorite. Looking forward to sharing this with my dog loving friends, and maybe with the kid who is having trouble finding their pack.
