Come play in the chemistry lab where you will learn all about the states and properties of matter! You can squish the clay (a solid) into a different shape, blow bubbles (a gas) in the juice (a liquid) watch them disappear, and more.
The interactive text and simple illustrations work well together. This would be an excellent supplement for the science curriculum of 1st to 3rd grade. I liked that it explained the properties of matter in a kid-friendly way. The end even includes instructions for an experiment to make a gas with baking soda.
