Aya and Oskar a best friends and they love to do things together. they like to explore, build things, and play. One day Oskar didn't want to play anymore. Oskar seemed sad, but aya knew that sometimes Oskar just needed to be alone for a while. Aya sent notes to Oskar and tried to cheer him up.
I think we can all recognize ourselves in Oskar from time to time. Sometimes we all need some time alone to think, to process all the things that are happening around us, and to figure things out. Soon enough Oskar is ready to play again and all is well with their world. Sometimes we all just need time to work through our big feelings. We all need some time alone. I highly recommend this book and it will teach children that it is OK to need some alone time from time to time.
