Evie and her Grandma Sue have come to the Repair Shop because Grandma’s beloved doll has been loved so much that needs some loving care to brighten her up for a new generation.
I’ve never heard of the British TV show The Repair Shop, but I will look for it now. This is the first picture book from the Repair Shop. And a very fitting introduction, with a beautiful story about WWII and Christmas love. Longer format than many picture books - more words per page, but worth it for a cuddly read-aloud story time.
