The firehouse alarm rings and everyone in the firehouse jumps into action. Firefighters quickly put on their gear, get in the truck, and head out to extinguish the fire. 

I loved the rhyming text which also has great rhythm. Each page features a color such as black boots, a red fire truck, and a yellow hose. The people depicted are a variety of colors as well. A quick fun read with high appeal for young children.
