Originally published in Australia, American children may need to understand that swimming north from Australia is toward warmer water. Lane's illustrations are gorgeous! Even the one showing the shark's scary teeth. I liked that it was a story, with different text for the information. Quite engaging - shark-loving kids will read and re-read.
