In homage to The Night Before Christmas, Ehlert focuses on the mouse who was very much stirring that night. Even though the author/illustrator passed away in 2021, she still has some instant classic collage books to share with us. Some of the pages themselves are cutout or have cutouts, adding to the enjoyment.
