A child is visiting Grandad, and while looking through a photo album with him, learns all about his travels with his partner Gramps, including time spent on the beach and driving to the places in a fabulous pink camper van.
I loved that this book featured an older LGBT couple, it's the first I've seen this. Hooray, Harry Woodgate! Woodgate's illustrations are so fun, I loved following the roads through the town with the camper van, I loved the illustrations that looked like vacation photos, and I loved the young version of grandad. A fun book about dreams come true and good memories.
