A child's mother tells him a story that takes him on a journey to two different culture's dragons - because that child has the magic of both dragons in them.
Hanna Cha's illustrations are absolutely gorgeous! I pictured myself along the paths of both forests, sat with the wise women and marveled at the dragons. The story is sweet, revealing other important pieces of the dragon stories: bogs, hobgoblins, treasure and nine-tailed foxes, a white rabbit, and the moon goddess. I want to read it again and again. The main character is mixed European and Asian.
