Lily the tiger and her friend Tig do not agree on what is fun. Tig really wants to have a party, but Lily likes being alone. When Tig convinces Lily to help host her very first party, Lily is in charge of inviting their zoo neighbors. Inviting Lily's neighbors will be easy! Or will it?
I love that this low-level graphic novel shows a range of emotions with the illustrations, and characters identify how they are feeling in speech bubbles. There are misunderstandings, apologies, disappointments, excitement, and silliness. Tig and Lily are very lovable and relatable. The characters are animals.
