BUYING ADVISORY: PRE-K, EL (K-3) - ESSENTIAL
AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH
The night sky allows us to see the stars and planets. During the day the sun outshines them! Some nights the moon is round, other nights its just a sliver. Some of the stars make up constellations. Falling stars are really a meteor shower, and the northern lights . . . spectacular.
Wow, this level one reader was full of great information. John Wallace's watercolor illustrations featured kids looking at the night sky and were the perfect addition. I loved that it contains a glossary - provided at the beginning - what a great idea for new readers! Plus there's a collection of interesting facts at the end. I'm so excited to recommend this wonderful early reader! The illustrations feature multicultural children.
