Bella Gosi agrees to foster a small puppy for the weekend. Even though she doesn't know much about dogs. However, this dog seems to grow bigger during the day and at night it goes crazy. Bella begins to suspect this dog is not quite normal.
If you've ever had an out-of-control puppy, you can relate to Bella's puppy sitting. Bella is a responsible if frazzled dog sitter and does her best to take care of both puppy and people. Pretty straightforward plot, but charming. Race or culture is not mentioned but line drawings would indicate some diversity.
