Identical twins, Jessica and Elizabeth have been super close and have even dressed alike for 12 years. But as they begin middle school, they discover they have different interests, which may make middle school even harder than it already is. One of the twins worries friends and different activities may divide them.
Even if this is your first foray into the Sweet Valley Twins books, you may find yourself enjoying them more than you thought. The twins are white middle class girls but have diversity in their friends. The twins capture the angst of middle school and family issues pretty well, and their sibling relationship rings true. This was an engaging and quick read that many students will relate to.
