A little boy builds a wonderful castle of blocks, but when it all tumbles down, each of the animal friends decide how he is feeling and how he should react, until the rabbit comes and helps.
This is a wonderful story about emotions and how to treat others who are hurting. People are so quick to tell others how to react or what to do, but sometimes all that is needed is a listening ear. This would be a beneficial read at the middle school level as well.
