Mr. Fish has planned a fun vacation,
packs his bags and sets off on his adventure.
While trying to get to his vacation spot he has a few detours-some good
and some bad. When he finally gets to
his hotel, he realizes that he has forgotten his “snoozy-snuggly” that he normally
likes to sleep with and feels homesick.
Mr. Fish talks himself out of his sadness, has a fantastic trip and is
happy when he arrives home.
Pout-Pout
fish books are good at helping kids handle new situations and this book handles
traveling. The illustrations are cute,
and the sing-song rhythm of the text makes for a fun read-aloud. This is a cute and creative way to discuss
feelings young kids might have about leaving home for a trip.
