Togo and more then 100 other Alaskan sled dogs led the charge to deliver a life-saving diphtheria vaccine to the children of remote Alaskan villages.
As interesting and exciting as the story is, the first problem is the illustrations - from the cover on through, I found them disturbing, a bit off-putting. The stilted style of the writing didn’t help me to overlook the pictures.
